About Vellure
Most chat and dating apps ask you to perform yourself before you're allowed to talk to anyone - build a profile, pick your best photos, write a bio that sounds interesting. Vellure starts from the opposite end: you can open the app and be talking to another real person in seconds, with nothing but a name we made up for you. If you decide later you want a name of your own, a photo, a bio - that's there too, whenever you want it, never before.
What it actually is
A live directory of whoever's online right now, and a private conversation with anyone in it. No feeds, no algorithm deciding who you should talk to, no group chats to perform in front of. Just you, someone else, and a conversation - text or photos, your call.
What we actually care about
- Anonymous should mean anonymous. A guest identity is genuinely temporary - it isn't secretly tied to anything else, and it's gone when your session ends.
- Consent, asked plainly. Sharing photos is opt-in, not assumed, and the choice is yours to change any time - it was designed so saying no costs you nothing else.
- Built for everyone, not just English. Names and messages work properly across scripts most chat apps quietly mangle - Vietnamese, Arabic, Devanagari, Thai, and more.

Where it's headed
Vellure is early - this is a small, honest product, not a finished one. It'll keep changing, and we'd rather build it slowly and get the trust part right than move fast and lose it.
